Engagement focused on evolving EE LearnSmart's digital hub to support a new partnership and a new kind of content.

EE LearnSmart's kids platform was built for short-form content, think reels and bite-sized learning videos. When a new partnership with Apprentice Nation was confirmed, the client needed a way to surface long-form content in the hub, and they needed it fast.
The hypothesis: Rather than trying to solve everything at once under time pressure, a phased approach would deliver an immediate solution for the client while creating space to design something more considered for the future.
With just 2.5 days to deliver, I took a strategic view and proposed a two-phase approach. Phase 1 focused on getting something live quickly, we designed a dedicated partner page introducing the Apprentice Nation partnership, with long-form content linking out to their site directly. Not a perfect long-term solution, but a considered and transparent one that kept users informed while buying time for something better. Phase 2 was where the real opportunity emerged. We identified that the structure of existing landing pages could be adapted to hold both long and short-form content, allowing us to build a new hub for older kids without starting from scratch. By replicating and extending existing components, we created a scalable solution that worked within the existing system.

A strategic approach that solved an immediate problem while laying the groundwork for a bigger opportunity.
